Industrial Textiles & Plastics are hosting an urgent working party discussion for business people and their advisers in North Yorkshire
The initial meeting will be held at 1400 hrs on Friday 22nd February 2019
At 11pm on 29th March 2019, the United Kingdom is due to leave the European Union. The nature of our departure is still uncertain but there is a clear risk of no-deal Brexit. Indeed no-deal Brexit is what will, definitely, happen unless Parliament can agree on something better and negotiate it in time with all 27 EU countries.
The objective of this working party is to discuss the new challenges and opportunities which our departure will bring to every business, and how best to meet them. Any significant issues will be dealt with internally or discussed with other bodies where appropriate.
There has been woefully little guidance for businesses on this, and we feel it's time for local businesses to band together urgently to help themselves.
Our discussion will be strictly confidential and is best suited for those in Management roles.
This is emphatically not a forum to discuss the pros and cons of Brexit but to discuss the best means of meeting the challenges ahead.
